Who the hell is the Impact! Sound?

Great question! Meet DuMp-TrUcK, Hep Greg, Cory, and The Grand Yoni—a crew of vinyl enthusiasts, music lovers, DJs, artists, sound system builders, and general rule-benders. Together, we are the IMPACT! Sound DJs. We're all about spinning authentic 45s from the golden era of ska, rocksteady, and early reggae on our custom-built, 18,000-watt sound system. While our roots are firmly planted in the vintage sounds of Jamaica, our musical palate spans across soul, funk, and the deeper cuts of the vinyl world.

When we're not behind the decks, you’ll find us hosting events, curating radio shows (tune in to XRAY FM) and raising funds for social causes. It’s not just about the music—it’s about creating a vibrant community and sharing our love for the culture.

At the IMPACT! Sound, we’re all about connecting people across genres, giving music the respect it deserves, and, of course, having a hell of a time doing it.
